of St Andrews

Our St Andrew’s Day, known in 2019 as "The Big Hoolie', occurs annually on November 30th to celebrate the kindness and patriotic contributions of St. Andrew, the patron saint of Scotland. The celebration takes over South Street with a community market, a torch parade, live entertainment, the world’s largest street ceilidh, which The Fellowship is proud to sponsor and organize. This event truly embodies the Fellowship’s mission of fostering town and gown relations, as both students and locals enjoy the festivities. It is all made possible by the partnering efforts of BID and the St Andrews University Community Group.
